Feasability study conducted for an international organisation in Geneva. 10,000 m2 of offices plus an annexed 1000m2 for a fully operational day-care center
This little house had been divided into several tiny rooms with horrid views all coming to a large and dark central hallway. The interior of the house was completely gutted, adding a long central beam for support and a vast open space was created in order to showcase the family’s art collection. New interiors are modern, clean and light. Balconies, facing a social estate in bad conditions were turned into atria filling the house with natural light and unexpected interior gardens.
Diagonal views and openings in walls were created in order to showcase important elements. The lighting of each atmosphere, both artificial lighting as well as natural daylight penetration of the large space was given careful consideration.
